Legends of Gaming
Q4 started with Legends of Gaming. A gaming show which offered a fascinating insight into the world of gaming and Youtube Personalities. Luckily Drones and video-gamers seem to go together hand in hand.
We also met the team at FreeFly VR and had loads of fun with their VR goggles. Their headset is the perfect companion to be used with Micro Drone 3.0’s FPV camera. Stay tuned for updates on a potential collaboration.
Kidtropolis
Kidtropolis was the perfect half term treat for the Kids. Days one and two saw our battle of the drones where contestants had an aerial battle to be crowned the last drone standing. The third day was devoted to a one on one drone training for the little ones. We hope we inspired the next generation of drone pilots especially as they got to fly the MD3 in the battle cage.
WIRED Magazine
Credits to Rosie Ham and her events team for such a smooth and well run event. Extreme Fliers brought the drone fleet, demonstrating the full capabilities of Micro Drone 3.0 to attendees.
There was Such awesome tech on show. We noticed a particular focus on VR and modular design – two things very prominent within Micro Drone 3.0. Good to know we are on trend.
With WIRED 2016 over, the East London Tobacco Dock transformed into WIRED: NEXT GENERATION: opening the floodgates to hundreds of kids. The modular nature of Micro Drone 3.0 made it the perfect candidate for a drone building workshop. “How to build your drone” was a huge success, with both one hour sessions selling out.
UK Drone Show
With a constant buzz around our stand, the UK Drone Show was everything we hoped it would be. Attendees even had a chance to see our carbon racing kit prototype which we will be updating people on in the coming months.
